Farm Talk Tuesday: A peek in the auger cart

The auger cart’s main job is to catch corn or soybeans on the go so the combine doesn’t ever have to stop harvesting. I was in the cart yesterday I took a couple of quick videos to show you what it’s like.

Our cart has a camera on the top of the auger so you can see inside the truck while you’re filling it. It also has a set of scales so you know how much weight you’ve put on your truck. When loaded, most semis will weigh about 80,000 lbs when they cross the scales at the elevator.
